RACING EVENTS

Grand Prix New York offers racing events that are simply unparalleled. Choose from many racing formats or work with our event specialist to create your own.  With two European-inspired race tracks, the finest equipment and the highest safety standards, you can be confident that every racing event at GPNY will be one to remember.

Lime Rock, Sebring, Daytona Championship
This race format gives everyone an opportunity to race for a championship. Each racer will compete in 1, 2 or 3 qualifying races, starting from different positions on the grid. Based on finishing positions in the qualification rounds, the top drivers (up to 10) would advance to the Feature race with the winner being the champion. The number of qualification rounds can be adjusted on request.

Open Track Race Off
This race format allows the group to use the track for an allotted amount of time with races scheduled in pre-set intervals and run approximately every 10 minutes. This is a great format for larger groups looking to have big fun without crowning a champion.

Endurance Race
This is the ultimate format for the racing enthusiast. The race is run continuously for a set period of time (ex. 1, 2, 3, 6 hours) and is best suited for multiple driver teams. The event coordinator and the number of drivers determine the length of the race. Every private racing event includes exclusive track rental, private safety and event briefing, and an event coordinator.  Click here to learn more about our Team Building Events & Options.

Pit-Stop Challenge
Start by creating teams of four to five participants to compete in our NASCAR inspired  pit-stop race.  Decide which members are best suited for each task – from tire changers, air-gun wranglers and beyond – just like in a real pit crew. And then it’s all up to you and your team, because the team with the fastest time to change   2 or 4 tires, wins! Click here to learn more about our Team Building Events & Options.

BOWLING EVENTS

With up to 19 lanes, Including a 7 Lane Suite with Banquet Space, which can be booked privately, no headcount presents an issue for this beautiful, fun filled space. Have a DVD presentation? Turn to our 20 ft. LCD projection screens at the end of the lanes.

Tag Team Bowing
Create a Strong team bonding experience by requiring team members to rely on each other to complete each frame. They also must work together to determine the best order placement of the players to optimize their total score. Click here to learn more about our Team Building Events & Options

SIMULATOR ROOM EVENTS

We also have a new racing option, without physically placing you in a vehicle that goes 200 MPH. Our top of the

line I-racing simulators allow you to race on the track of your choice. As close to the real experience as possible, speeds, shifting and even wheel jerking is a perfect replication of the real thing. You are practicing the same way the professionals do, and on the same equipment!

Team Challenge
Minimum 1 hour, 2 person teams (up to 20 people). Teams of two willpartner in a race with a 20 minute practice, 10 minute qualify session (one teammate willqualify the car) and a 30 minute race (drivers must switch at least once).Team challenge option can be modified based on overall number of participants subject.

Blind Fold Challenge
Teams of 2 to 3 each practice for a specified time (based on total rental time). One driver is chosen to be blindfolded and coached around the course. Best lap times win. This is done using a practice session to limit interaction with other cars on track.
