The popular historic motor racing TV-series, GT Racer, has been aired worldwide with great success. It is the top rated show among vintage car and racing enthusiasts. Season II has been shown in the United States on Discovery's HD Theater with a tremendous response.

The most outrageous episode - La Carrera Panamericana - has now been re-edited to expand the original hour long film to a full feature-length 'cinema vérité' documentary of 100 minutes, including 50 minutes of previously unseen footage. LA CARRERA PANAMERICANA is the toughest, most grueling vintage race event in the world: 7 days and 2,000 miles through Mexico, including 350 miles of closed public roads for full-speed racing. 

In order to celebrate the upcoming DVD release of La Carrera Panamericana - The Directors Cut , we invite to join our exclusive screening at Grand Prix New York. 

Upon arrival you will be offered cocktails between some original La Carrera Panamericana race cars and you will have a chance to mingle with some of the pilots. This will be followed by a short introductory speech from the director and producer of the film.

During the intermission you will have a chance to purchase exclusive pre-release DVD copies of the film as well as other films from the GT Racer series, signed by the director.

After the screening of the second half will be a chance for Q&A with the filmmaker and a number of drivers that have taken part in the race.

For those of you who have your racing blood really pumping, a few laps on our track will be arranged.

We looking forward to an excellent evening that should put you in the right mood for the East Coast's most important Vintage Car weekend, The Labor Day Vintage Festival at Lime Rock.
